I'm 33. Except for a brief 7 year period when I was in college, I've worked moderately, to very, to not at all hard since I was 18. Despite being a social drunk I've managed to work 10-40 hours a week almost every week and I haven't even called in hungover for 2 or 3 months. Given the economy there is no retirement in sight and I'm tired. Very tired (The Super Bowl didn't end until well after 11pm last night).
I'm tired of being told I have to watch PG-13 horror and action films because Hollywood doesn't think there is a market for a hard R rating anymore. Did people forget how to say "fuck"? What happened to great boob scenes? When did sex, blood, and cursing stop selling movies?
I'm tired of being excellent at self-love and being looked down upon for bragging about it.
I'm tired of reality TV polluting my viewing options. It's been 4 years and I still don't care what a "Snooki" is. I'm tired of paying for DirectTV so I can watch football and having the Oxygen Network forced into my bundle.
I'm tired of being told ESPN is a "Sports News Network" when every day I can turn it on and see Skip Bayless making things up on the spot, spewing verbal vomit all over my screen.
I'm tired of Fox and NBC screwing up great shows. Community deserved 6 Seasons and a Movie and we deserve more Serenity.
I'm tired of waiting on hover boards. I refuse to believe Back to the Future would lie to me. Speaking of technology, where the hell are lightsabers? They should be the Swiss Army knife of the 2010s. What about the Flying car?
I'm tired of Pro-Wrestling not being treated as the legitimate sport it is. If ESPN can spend 18 hours a day giving Steve Smith a platform, why can't the Rock show up to call Johnathan Coachman a "Jabroni" one last time?
I'm tired of being told I look like a Baldwin. When this gets incorrectly attributed to some celebrity please just make it Malcolm Reynolds. He isn't a real person, but he really kicks ass.
Finally I'm tired of all the bitching and moaning online. Don't spend your time watching and complaining, spend it doing. That way when your old and out of energy you'll know you did all you could. Let's all join together and start improving life by getting rid of Skip Bayless.
